Time is flying.

Here's an update for you all.

I had a lovely Easter break in the UK for 10 days - Bournemouth, Woking and St. Alban's! It was really nice to have some time off work and see family and friends. Some rather frustrating news however, the screen on my phone broke so I haven't been able to take pictures of what I've been up to! So I'll just have to steal some other people's instead...

Last night we went to a store opening for 'The Good Life'. Björn is selling Insight and Vans there, plus a lot of friends went for the free beer :)

Yesterday morning me and Kevin went to a big flea market in Østerbro. Pelle and Mikkel from Cali were there with some New Balance:

It would be rude not to grab a pair:

In food-related news, I have been experimenting in the kitchen this week thanks to a new found inspiration in the form of home made lasagne (courtesy of Ellie). So, I thought I'd have a go myself:

(It was tastier than the blurry picture).

As always, there is lots to report but I won't bore you with the details! Things are going well at work and I am really looking forward to the Summer months in Copenhagen. Time is flying but that's what happens when you're having fun.

We've gone video mad.

Apologies for the lack of updates on here. It's mainly due to being busy at work and then not wanting to be on my laptop when I go back home. But here's an update for you!

I have had a few creative bursts in the past couple of weeks. We made two videos for the front page of Norse Store. Both concepts were wonderfully created into reality with the skills of Nick, Morten and myself. Here they are!

In other news, I went back to the UK for the last weekend of February to celebrate my 21st birthday with my family + Ellie. We had days out in London and Guildford and ate some really good food! Then, the following weekend, I had my friends from my University project team last year to come and visit me in Copenhagen. We had a packed weekend of sightseeing, riding bikes to the beach and generally having a good time.

As usual, here are some photos from the past few weeks...

We said goodbye to my room-mate Michael at the weekend. He is off to Hong Kong and then Australia, travelling and taking photographs.

As for me, we are pressing on with the Spring / Summer 12 season at Norse Store. Still lots of new brands and products to be delivered, so there's still lots be done!

Greetings from an increasingly sunny Copenhagen.

Shirts and Shoes

Just a quick note to say that last week I started a new Tumblr picture blog, 'Shirts and Shoes'.

The blog acts as a collection of nice stuff that I have seen either on the internet or in real life. Here's the idea: I see a lot of different items of clothing on a daily basis. A small amount is particularly interesting to me and over the past month or so I have realised that I have no way of recording them. So, from now on, I am going to update this blog so it can act as an archive for present and future reference.

This blog is not necessarily something you would be interested in, as it's more of a personal selection of my favourite shirts and shoes.

Anyway, I thought it would be good to drop the link on here for those of you who are into it!

Here's what it looks like:

CFW

Copenhagen Fashion Week was a good one. Definitely more chilled than Berlin and Paris, but still pretty busy with lots of work to be done.

Highlights include our Norse Store Release Party, where we celebrated the launch of three exciting Norse Projects collaborations and held a book signing with Michael Dupouy from La MJC for his annual streetwear book titled 'All Gone'; a big meal out with friends of the house and, once again, meeting a lot of really good people.

Here are some photos.

It was -8 over the weekend - chilly is an understatement!

I didn't really get a proper look around Gallery this time. I saw a few cool collections and met a few great people though. Until next time!

Berlin and Paris

Well, what a week.

A busy three days in Berlin, followed by a busy four days in Paris. I got the chance to represent Norse Projects at the "(capsule)" shows in both cities - meeting lots of store buyers and taking orders for AW12.

In between shows we ate some good food and saw some cool spots, alongside getting the chance to look at some exciting new product from some of my favourite brands. Best of all, I have met and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with some great people.

Here are some of the photos I managed to take on my phone. Enjoy!

All in all it was an amazing trip.

In terms of clothing, the collections that really caught my eye included Mark McNairy New Amsterdam, Warriors of Radness, Sidian, Ersatz and Vanes and Nigel Cabourn. Plus, I saw strong offerings from Folk, Oliver Spencer, Yuketen and Gitman Vintage

Now back to the daily grind at the office! Copenhagen Fashion Week is next week, so things are going to get crazy again. I will be doing more selling at Gallery, the show I did in August (back in my first week of living here). We are releasing a lot of new product and collaborations which is very exciting indeed.

Now I better catch up on some sleep.
